The half liter glazed pottery stein is approximately 4-1/2 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The lid bears a relief image of a RAD enlisted man in uniform and “Robin Hood” cap. The thumb lift is in the form of the RAD spade and wheat shafts emblem. The interior of the stein shows a dark line down one side, but there is no visible crack on the exterior of the stein and the stein is without chips or repairs. The base is maker marked.
