The white porcelain disk is double sided and it is approximately 6-3/4 inches in diameter. One side of the disk bears a canted swastika and the designation of “R.D.K. Reichsfachgruppen- Ehrenpreis”. The opposite side has the relief image of a rooster. The disk shows some surface soiling and verdigris, but it is without chips, cracks or damage. On the side bearing the swastika there is a small hole in the surface above the letter “D” of the “R.D.K.” designation, but this same small hole is present on other known examples of the plaque and it was obviously a part of the manufacturing process. Overall excellent condition.
