Prussian Grenadier Garde Mitre Helmet Bottle
$275.00
Circa 19th century, a tall hand blown glass bottle, approximately 9 3/4 inches tall, in the form of the mitre helmet worn by a Prussian grenadier guard. The bottle is clear with gilt highlights. The front center features a Garde star. The eagle portion of the star was apparently printed on paper and sealed beneath the glass. The eagle has lost some of the detail but it is obvious that it is there. The bottom of the bottle is smooth and concave, and small bubbles can be observed in the glass. The mouth of the bottle is smooth and undoubtedly held a cork stopper at some point. Overall very good condition.
