Prussian Artillery Enlisted Kugelhelm

A complete Prussian enlisted ranks artillery kugelhelm that would benefit from a careful cleaning as it appears to have remained untouched for quite a long time. The helmet has gray metal fittings, ball top, and helmet plate. The black lacquered body has noticeable age crazing and some small creases in the finish at one spot on the rear of the helmet. The front of the helmet shell apparently had another plate on it at some point, for there is a second set of holes for the wappen that were filled in a long time ago, likely during the original period of use of the helmet. One cockade is an original but re-painted, the other a reproduction. The original chin strap is in place and the interior liner is complete.
