Post WWII Army 599th Armored Field Artillery Battalion Ike Jacket, Trousers, and Shirt

The Ike jacket is the 1946 pattern and tagged as a size 34 Short. The jacket shoulders carry the clutch back distinctive unit insignia of the battalion. The collar has domed “U.S.” and 599th artillery battalion collar disks. The left shoulder displays a German made bullion Seventh Army patch, and both sleeve of the jacket have Private First Class chevrons. Above the left pocket is a two place, plastic covered, ribbon bar with ribbons for the Occupation Medal and a Merit Medal of the Washington State Army National Guard. The jacket has a very small hole in the back but otherwise it is quite clean. The trousers are also the 1946 pattern, in excellent condition, and they are marked as a size 30 x 31. The khaki shirt has Private First Class chevrons and a fully embroidered Seventh Army shoulder patch. The shirt shows some spots. The shirt, trousers, and jacket all contain the laundry mark of “D 5989”.
