A metal license plate holder, approximately 9 by 11 inches, which includes a steel placard for the 111th Bomb Group (Light), as a unit of the Pennsylvania National Guard. The 111th Bomb Group was created in 1946 from the assignment to the Pennsylvania Guard of the 391st Bombardment Group, a unit of B-26 bombers that had flown in combat in Europe with the 9th Air Force during the war. Shows wear and use but is in good condition.
