Pattern 1887 British Martini-Henry Mk III Bayonet

The blade shows typical signs of age, with scattered spots and mossy areas, but without nicks, chips, or active rust. The black checkered Bakelite grip plates are without cracks, showing some spots of material loss from use in the field. The pommel and guard exhibit a dark and uncleaned patina. The scabbard fittings similarly show surface dirt and patina. The leather scabbard itself is somewhat dry, but it is intact and without damage.
