Hardcover. Italian language text. No publication date, but circa mid to late 1930’s. 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches. 390 pages. Illustrated with photographs. One of a set of eight volumes that were apparently seized by American authorities from a fascist institutional library in Italy in 1945. The title page bears the stamp of the fascist library.Another page bears a stamp indicating that the volume was transferred to the Library of Congress in April of 1945. The interior cover has the Library of Congress bookplate while another page bears a Library of Congress stamp which marks the volume as “surplus”.
The volume is in fair condition, with tears and rubbing to the cloth spine as well as spots. The paper of the pages has toned with age.
