Pancho Villa Period Mexican Army General’s Visor Cap
$950.00
The early 1900’s visor cap has a black wool body, with a directly embroidered gold bullion vine and scroll design on the cap band, the center of which displays the Mexican eagle insignia. The bullion embroidery is toned with age. The exterior surfaces of the cap exhibit signs of age, but the cap body is without holes, damage or repairs. The surface of the black leather visor has typical fine age crazing. The interior leather sweatband is present, as is the white silk lining. The base of the cap is a bit misshapen, but overall the cap is in very good condition.
