Pacific Cruise Remembrance Embroidery for the U.S.A.T Sheridan

The framed embroidery is approximately 17 1/2 by 20 inches. The embroidery is within its original period wood frame. The colors remain bright. The SHERIDAN was built in 1892 for the Atlantic Transport line as the MASSACHUSETTS and it was acquired by the Army, together with her four sister ships, in 1898. She was wrecked off Barnegat light in 1910.
