Near Mint WWII Italian Made German M43 Field Cap

Field gray wool M43 cap made in Italy for German troops. The front of the cap displays a machine woven trapezoid insignia with eagle and swastika above a national cockade. The trapezoid is machine sewn to the front of the cap although not through the lining. The interior of the cap is fully lined in a field gray wool which bears a size stamp of 58. There is a very small hole in the lining. The cap shows few, if any, signs of actual wear. It is free of holes or stains and shows only indications of some storage wear.
