Near Mint Unissued WWII Front Seam Fixed Bale M1 Combat Helmet

The exterior cork infused, olive drab, paint is essentially 100% intact, with only minor spots, scratches, or wear, primarily to the rim, and all most likely the result of storage wear. The web chin strap is present on the helmet. The interior liner is a Firestone model with tortoiseshell pattern interior that bears the designation “F2”.  The helmet liner is a earlier model with the lighter khaki-green color webbing and the liner, like the helmet itself, shows few if any signs of wear.
