Near Mint Imperial German 2nd Dragoon Regiment Officer’s Field Gray Visor Cap

The exterior of the cap body is a high quality field gray wool that is without stains or holes and it is exceptionally clean. The The black wool cap band is similarly clean.  The front of the cap displays officer cockades for the Prussian and national colors as well as the dragoon eagle. The leather visor shows some age crazing and scuffing. Across the visor is the buckling chin strap. The interior of the cap is fully lined and it shows only relatively minimal wear to the leather sweatband. Overall the cap is in near mint condition.
