Near Mint Cased 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by Klein & Quenzer

The Iron Cross is in near mint condition, with a fine uncleaned patina and with the matte black paint on the iron core being completely intact. The wide pin bears the Prasidialkanzlei LDO number “65”, indicating manufacture by the prestigious firm of Klein & Quenzer, one of the few firms that was authorized to produce the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. The case shows typical minor scuffing but it is complete and intact and in overall very good condition, with working press catch..
