Navy Mark V Morse Depp Sea Diver Knife

The Mark V type U.S. Navy deep sea diver knife with magnetic steel blade within its original cast brass sheath. The sheath is marked with the manufacturer name of the Morse Diving Equipment Company, Inc., of Boston, Massachusetts. The overall length is approximately 13 inches with a blade length of approximately 7 inches. The blade has some dark spots and has a significant amount of old, dried oil on the blade. The maple wood handle shows use but it is without chips or cracks. The brass sheath is in uncleaned and unpolished condition.
