The cap is constructed of black wool, with gold rank braid on the cap band and a gold bullion police officer insignia on the front. The gold bullion shows a fine and even age toning. The surface of the visor exhibits age crazing. The body of the cap is quite clean, without holes or damage. The full leather sweatband is in place, showing a tear. The interior lining is intact, bearing the stamped name “Okazaki”. While the cap exhibits age, it makes an excellent appearance.
