The hat is in excellent condition, showing typical age toning of the gold bullion components. The gold and silver bullion cords on the side of the cap reflect a rank of an Imperial Navy Commander or Captain. The name of the officer who wore the cap is embroidered inside of the crown. The neck cord is intact.
