Named WWII Japanese Navy Ensign’s White Summer Uniform

The uniform is comprised of the white cotton closed collar tunic as well as the white cotton zipper fly trousers. The uniform tunic and trousers both exhibit some typical soiling and age toning, but the uniform is without holes, damage or repairs. The shoulders of the tunic carry the rank boars of an Ensign of the Imperial Japanese Navy, with the bullion of the boards having age toning. The gilt buttons show an uncleaned patina. On the interior of the tunic is a tag with the embroidered name of the officer who owned the uniform. Overall excellent used condition.
