Named WWII Japanese 1,000 Stitch Belt of Philippine Islands KIA
$250.00
The golden cotton belt was embroidered with 1,000 red stitches to outline a tiger. It was worn by a Japanese soldier named “Kanasashi” and purchased from his family, who reported that he was killed in action in the Philippine Islands. The belt is approximately 6 1/2 inches wide and 43 inches long. It shows the typical spots ad signs of use from having been worn against the body of a soldier in the field, but overall it is in very good condition.
