The medal has a sewn brooch suspension and it is officially hand engraved of five lines “No. 12545 / Bert M. / Dumas / 1st Enlistment / 1916-1920”. The medal is accompanied by Dumas’ U.S.M.C. dog tags set. The medal and the dog tags show age and some verdigris, but overall the set is in excellent condition.
