Named WWI U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Division Enlisted Tunic

$750.00

Forest green wool World War I Marine Corps enlisted uniform tunic with a multi piece wool shoulder patch on the left shoulder for the 1-5th Marine Regiment attached to the U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division. There is a single bullion overseas service stripe on the lower left sleeve. The interior of the collar shows small holes on either side, indicating that at one time the tunic had screw back Marine Corps collar disks. The collar from the front shows only slight disturbance of the wool, and it really requires an examination of the interior lining of the collar to determine that the jacket once had collar disks on it. The interior of the jacket has a Marine Corps Quartermaster stamp, the size designation stamp of 7-L, and the stamp of the original owner’s name: “Keller, L.R.”. A very impressive World War I uniform jacket that is in exceptionally clean condition.
