Named NSKK / Transport Group Speer M-43 Officer Cap

The black wool M-43 style cap as worn by an officer of the NSKK or the Transport Group Speer. The cap is constructed in black wool with silver piping on the crown for officer status. The front displays a trapezoid machine woven NSKK-style eagle and swastika in flat silver wire, hand sewn to the front of the cap. Below the woven insignia is a metal cockade in the national colors. The interior of the cap shows signs of wear, with holes in the black rayon lining that leaves spots of the inner burlap lining exposed. The interior lining bears an embroidered name tag with the name “Einanger”. Overall very good field used condition.
