Named Late War Japanese Army EM/NCO Canteen

The canteen shows typical scuffs and scratches from use in the field. The exterior paint appears to have scratched kanji that is indistinct. The fabric harness bears stitched kanji, almost certainly the name of the soldier who carried the canteen. The canteen is a late war example, with a fabric strap for retention of the stopper rather than a leather strap, and with metal buckles having been eliminated from the stopper and shoulder straps as measures to conserve strategic materials. Very good field used condition.
