Named Imperial German Musician’s 1st Royal Bavarian Foot Artillery Regiment “Vakant Bothmer” Reservist Stein

The half liter porcelain stein has an overall height of approximately 9-3/4 inches. The central panel features a display ofa scenic view of the Garrison at Ulm above a pickelhaube and a panoply of arms. This is flanked by scenes of artillery in action in the field. The rear of the stein bears a unit roster. The stein is named to “Hornist Lorenz Heuwieser”, who served in the unit from 1897 to 1999. The stein features a portrait lithopane base of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. The stein is in near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
