Named Imperial German 66th (4th Baden) Field Artillery Reservist Stein with Portrait Top
$425.00
The half liter porcelain stein has an overall height of approximately 13 inches tall, inclusive of the lid finial. The stein is named to “Kanonier Walter I”, who served with the unit from 1912 to 1914. The rear of the stein has a unit roster (which names two men named “Walter” in the regiment). The base of the stein has a lithopane farewell scene. The artillery shell style lid can be unscrewed to reveal the painted portrait of a woman inside. The stein is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks, but missing lance.
