Named Imperial German 14th Royal Bavarian Infantry Regiment Reservist Stein With Prism Lid
$295.00
The half liter porcelain stein has an overall height of approximately 10 inches tall, inclusive of the faceted glass lid finial. The stein is named to “Hans Seifizner”, who served with the unit from 1907 to 1908. The rear of the stein has an emblem of wrench, hammer, compass, and other implements, together with the words “Hoch Lebe der Mechaniker” (“Long live the mechanic”). The base of the stein has a lithopane portrait of Bavaria’s King Ludwig II. The lid has a faceted glass top with a camp scene underneath. The stein shows some wear to the painted base, but overall it is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks.
