Named Hand Drawn German and British Aircraft Recognition Booklet

Approximately 5-3/4 inches by 8 inches. The interior graph pages are not numbered. On the cover of the booklet is the designation of “Flugzeugerkennungsdienst”, or “Aircraft Detection Service”. Below this is the name of “Schtz.” [“Schutze” or Private] Hubert Wirtz of “Lehrgang 66/42”, or Course 66/42, in Grossendorf. The pages contain notes about, and hand drawn diagrams of, combat aircraft, primarily British. The booklet also contains two loose pages, as well as a blank piece of Feldpost stationary which bears a 1943 calendar. Overall very good condition.
