Named Early 1900’s Royal Artillery Lieutenant Colonel Mess Dress Uniform
$375.00
The mess dress uniform is comprised of the high quality Melton wool jacket, matching trousers, and the red satin vest. The lapels of the jacket bear the bullion insignia of an officer of the Royal Artillery, while the shoulder carry the bullion rank insignia of a Lieutenant Colonel. The interior collar of the jacket has a cloth tape with a handwritten name. The trousers are constructed of matching blue wool, with wide red stripes down the side of each leg. The bottoms of the trouser legs have leather straps to secure the legs at the base. The interior of the jacket and the vest shows signs of actual wear, as do the trousers, primarily in the appearance of the red side stripes. Overall the uniform is quite clean, without holes or damage, and it makes a very good appearance.
