Named British Victorian Period Rifles Regimental Dress Uniform with Bearskin Cap

The black wool tunic is accompanied by the matching black wool trousers and the bearskin  cap. The tunic is missing one button and it shows typical signs of age and use, but it is without damage or repairs. The trousers are in similarly clean condition. The gold bullion tape trim on both the tunic and the trousers shows age toning. The interior of the tunic bears the handwritten name of “Cockerill”. The bearskin cap is complete with plume and the interior is maker marked. The interior leather sweatband shows substantial wear, but it is complete and intact. The leather chin strap remains present, and the cap exterior shows no obvious loss of fur. Overall the uniform is in excellent used condition and it makes a very impressive appearance.
