The flag is named in the written statement of “Deployment for Kota Furuya”, and it is dated “Showa 19”, or 1944. The flag bears the declarations of “Serve the Country”; “With Victorious Breath”; “Walk with Honor, Soldier for Life”; and “Sincerity and Bravery”. The flag bears 22 signatures, including that of a Lieutenant General. The flag shows spots and soiling, and it has a few tiny holes or separations, but it makes a very good appearance.
