The silk flag is approximately 29 inches by 36 inches, with two cords retained at reinforced corners. The flag is \named “To Mr. Kiyoshi Irisu” and it bears the slogan of “Eternal Good Fortune in Combat”. The flag is signed by “Vice Admiral Aki Obata” as well as by Japanese Navy Lieutenant Commander Norio Kajime, as well as by two Naval Lieutenant Commanders and a Naval Commander, together with the slogan “Good Fighting Navy”. The flag is toned, with small scattered holes but overall it makes a very good appearance.
