The half liter pottery stein is approximately 5-1/2 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein bears the designation of Christmas, 1932, and it commemorates service on the 11th Gebirgsjaeger Company of the 19th Bavarian Infantry Regiment in Lindau. The lid displays the relief image of a Model 1916 combat helmet with the edge being engraved “Obergefrt. Erhard”. The base of the stein is maker marked. The stein is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks.
