Named 1930’s Army Infantry Officer Dress Visor Cap
A wonderful dress uniform visor cap for a field grade infantry officer from the period prior to the Second World War. The dark blue wool cap has basket weave construction with the elongated visor that is characteristic of some of the dress visor caps before the war. The visor has nicely toned gold bullion oak leaves. The cap carries the light blue band of an Infantry officer. The interior of the cap shows minimal wear, and beneath the sweat shield is the name tag of a Colonel McLaughlin. An impressive cap in overall excellent condition.
