Named 1907 Imperial German 2nd Garde Regiment zu Fusilier Reservist Stein

The pottery stein has an overall height of approximately 11 1/2 inches tall. The stein displays a Guards Star insignia which is flanked by images of a Guards Regiment soldier clasping the hand of an older civilian. This is appropriate, because the stein bears a presentation: “Zum Andenken von meinen Sohne Gefr. Jakob Gladbach. Prosit lieber Vater!” (“In memory of my son Gefreiter Jakob Gladbach. Prosit dear father”. The stein is named to Leonhard Gladbach. The stein lid finial is very slightly bent, but otherwise the stein is in near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
