Named 1902 A.V / N.H Visor Cap

The blue wool body of the cap has a small surface hole on the front peak, but otherwise the cap is very clean and, aside from surface dust, it makes a very good appearance. On the front of the cap there is a gold bullion eagle directly embroidered onto the cap, above which are the directly embroidered letters “A.V” over “N.H.”. The surface of the black leather visor shows crazing and wrinkling of the surface. The interior is fully lined, and the leather sweatband is intact. The lining bears a manufacturer mark and it is named to a medical doctor. The cap has a gold bullion officer strap across the visor that is retained on the sides by Federal eagle buttons.
