Model 43 Dated Stielhandgranate Hand Grenade

Overall excellent condition, with some typical paint loss to the head of the grenade. The wooden handle is dated 1943. The head of the grenade bears much of the original stenciled declaration of “VOR GEB RAUCH SPRENGKAPSEL EINSETZEN,” (“Before use, insert detonator”). The base cap is removable, and the detonator string and ball are still within the handle.
