Model 1913 U.S. Army Cavalry Patton Saber by Landers, Frary & Clark Dated 1919

The “Patton Saber” has a blade that shows a generally gray cast, with mossy spots, scratches and surface grime. The ricasso bears the mark of Landers, Frary & Clark (L.F. & C.) and the date of 1919, while the opposite ricasso has the “U.S.” mark. The bowl guard and grip retain the original dark finish, with minor scratches. The grip is without chips or cracks. The scabbard is canvas over wood, showing spots and soiling. The metal throat and drag exhibit a largely intact finish while showing some wear and age.
