Model 1902 U.S. Army Officer Sword Marked “Germany”

The Pre-WWII sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 34 inches, with a blade length of approximately 28 inches. The triple etched blade is etched on one side with decorative motifs that include a “U.S.” designation, while the opposite side bears an etched American eagle. The spine is marked “Germany” and it is etched with laurel leaves. The blade is quite bright, showing only some minor spots and scratches. The contoured grip shows only minor signs of wear and age but it is without chips or cracks. The plated guard, back strap, and scabbard are all bright, with some scattered small spots of wear or speckling to the plated finish. Overall excellent condition.
