Model 1889 Imperial Prussian Infantry Officer Sword by Clemen & Jung

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39 inches, with a blade length of approximately 32 inches. The plated blade shows spots and some scattered specks, but it is essentially mirror bright. The ricasso bears the “Z” trademark of the Clemen & Jung firm. The gripped is covered in sharkskin and it remains tightly triple wrapped with wire. The pierced guard and pommel exhibit an uncleaned patina. The scabbard shows scuffs and abrasions, with some spots of surface rust where there has been paint loss, but the paint remains approximately 80 percent intact on the scabbard. Overall excellent condition.
