Model 1838 Kingdom of the Netherlands Cuirassier Helmet

A very impressive model 1838 cuirassier helmet from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The helmet has a body of polished steel with a large brass front plate in the image of the Netherlands lion. The helmet has brass chin straps lined in leather and it is complete with its blue plume and fur comb, which appears to be bearskin. The leather liner is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
