Marine Corps Officer Green Service Visor Cap by Berkshire Size 7 1/4

The exterior cap body is in excellent condition, without stains or holes. The interior of the cap is marked by Berkshire on the sweat shield. The interior cap body is basket weave construction. Beneath the sweat band is the cloth tag stating that the garment was manufactured to Marine Corps specifications, that tag having been introduced in the 1950’s. A size tag is beneath the sweat band. There is some loss of stitching to the interior sweat band, but the band is complete and intact. The toned officer eagle, globe and anchor insignia is marked on the reverse with the shield logo of the N.S. Meyer firm.
