M1917 Helmet 2nd Div. 9th Inf. Rgt. 3rd Btln.

On the front of the helmet is the painted insignia of an Indian head against a blue pentagon, used by the 3rd Battalion of the 9th Infantry Regiment of the 2nd Division. The helmet has a few shallow dents, but is in overall very good field used condition. The liner and chin strap are present, detached on one side, and the initials of “S Mc F” are scratched into the leather strap.
