M1916 Combat Helmet with Souvenir Label Remnant

Model 1916 combat helmet in the original field gray paint with the paint being approximately 85% intact. On the top of the exterior is the remnant of an address label that was applied to send the helmet home as a souvenir. The three pad interior liner is present although the pillows are empty. The original drawstring is gone but an old piece of twine is present in its place, and it seems to have been there for some time. One of the two leather tongues on the top of one of the liner pads is torn. The chin strap is missing. The interior of the skirt is stamped with the manufacturer and size code of “Si.66”. Overall very good combat used condition.
