The blade shows typical signs of age and use but it is without nicks, chips, or rust, and the functioning spring mechanism permits the blade to be released from the grip and locked into place, and retracted into the grip. The wood grip plates show minor scratches, small dents and a small tight crack emanating from the take-down button. The Marlin spike is present and moves easily into and out of the grip. The blade bears the RB number.
