Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge by Assmann

A zinc badge, riveted construction, with the gilt eagle retaining most of its finish on the face, reverse with toning. The reverse of the wreath has a “1” impressed into the wreath just above the rivet. A fine badge, produced by Assmann, but without the characteristic “A” mark of that firm.
