Luftwaffe General’s Summer Uniform Metal Breast Eagle

The gilt, pin back, breast eagle worn on the white summer uniform tunic of a Luftwaffe General. The eagle is aluminum, about 3 1/4 inches wide, and maker marked by Assmann. The gilt finish has toned with age and there is some minor wear to the finish, primarily on the swastika.
