Luftwaffe Feldwebel of Signals Tunic

The small-sized tunic was privately tailored in high quality Luftwaffe blue gray wool, with brown collar tabs, a brown piped collar, and brown piped shoulder straps which reflect service in the signals and communication branch of the Luftwaffe. On the lower left sleeve is the silver bullion badge of the Luftwaffe Air Signals “B” Class Radio Operator trade badge. Above the upper left pocket is the single ribbon bar of the 1939 Iron Cross Second Class. The upper left pocket has two holes in the pleat, presumably where a badge was worn. The tunic shows fading of the exposed areas not covered by the lapels, pocket flaps, or cuffs, but the tunic is without holes, damage or repairs. The interior collar retains the tailor label. Overall the tunic makes a very good appearance.
