The cap is constructed of Luftwaffe blue gray wool with the front bearing the Luftwaffe eagle and the national colors cockade. The full lining is present and it is dated “1944”, marked with the manufacturer’s code, and having a stated size of “56”. The cap shows wear consistent with wear in the field, and it exhibits surface soiling, but it is without holes or damage and it exhibits great character. Overall very good field used condition.
