Late War Japanese Type 30 Jinsen Arsenal Arisaka Bayonet

The blade has a largely intact dark finish, showing the inclusions and striations of a late war production bayonet. The bayonet has a square pommel and a straight quillon. The ricasso bears the mark of the Jinsen Arsenal in Korea. The grip plates show signs of age and toning, with a short, period, crack at the top of one plate. The pommel is numbered. The pommel and the guard exhibit patina and some surface rust. The finish of the scabbard is almost completely intact. Overall the bayonet is a fine, late war example in good condition.
