Large “U.S. Zone” Porcelain Serving Bowl by Hutschenreuther

The large porcelain serving bowl is approximately 8-1/2 inches square by 3 inches deep. Th base bears the mark of the Hutschenreuther porcelain firm in Bavaria, bearing the designation of “U.S. Zone”, a mark that was used by the company from 1946 until 1950. The bowl also bears an interesting impressed mold mark of “27?”. The bowl is dirty from storage but it is without chips or cracks.
